Woody's Happy Camper Challenges
Challenge Number 1 - "Lost in Space"
- Use some rope to mark an area 3 meters by 4 meters.
- Have five other scouts join you in the area.
- Each scout should have a full sheet of newspaper.
- Now try to arrange yourselves so that everybody can lay out flat and spread their newspaper on the floor. There should be no overlap.
The area that you marked out is the same size as a Jamboree dome tent
that six scouts and their luggage will share in Adelaide.
Keep your gear tidy and in your bag so everyone can get a comfortable
sleep.
Jamboree Activities
Jamboree activities are a mixture of on-site and off-site activities that seek to challenge the participants, reinforce Scouting values, provide valuable and new experiences, and most of all, be great fun.
Activities for the 2007 Australian Scout Jamboree included:-
- Circus Skills
- Bush tracking and navigation
- Canoes, rafts and swimming
- Go-Karting
- Plenty of mud activities
